THE PARISHRAM RESIDENCE
Architect K Atelier presents a residential project, "Parishram" blends comfort, consistency, and impeccable design. Its balanced openness and dynamic transitions align seamlessly with our vision. The play of volumetric spaces, linear alignments, and the combination of vertical and horizontal lines enhance the grandeur of the design. Thoughtful detailing throughout ensures a luxurious and harmonious living experience. When we first visited the site in 2023, civil work had begun but needed a complete redesign. We transformed the layout, expanding narrow door and window openings to create a spacious flow from the entrance through the various levels.Drawing inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s clean, sharp alignments, the residence in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, perfectly marries functionality with aesthetic appeal. The design flows like a symphony, with each space creating a seamless, harmonious progression.

Glimpse of it..!
Parishram invites you into an estate where nature and design harmoniously blend. The entrance is framed by lush landscaping, with natural light highlighting the stone-clad exterior. As you walk, the soft sounds of rustling leaves and a Buddha-adorned fountain, along with the fragrance of blooming flowers, create a serene atmosphere. Thoughtfully planned pathways offer new perspectives of the striking facade, combining textured gray elements, travertine, and expansive window walls, all amidst the verdant surroundings. The balcony seamlessly connects the indoor and outdoor spaces, while the terrace, with its louvered pergola, maintains architectural balance.
The passage leads to a tranquil rear garden, designed as a peaceful retreat surrounded by greenery, with a seating area perfect for family gatherings. Inside, oversized windows and a lofty ceiling signify equilibrium, while clean lines and an uncluttered palette enhance the sense of serenity. The view of the garden envelopes the space, adding a calming ambiance. The architect's decision to forgo excessive panels in the drawing room, allowing the garden and calmness to permeate, adds a bold yet thoughtful touch. The family core space flows effortlessly from the living area to the kitchen and dining, with refined shades of deep browns, whites, and grays. Vertical access is facilitated through an elevator and staircase. The kitchen is linked to a utility store, wash area, and backyard lawn for added convenience. The winding staircase, adorned with minimalist grooved patterns and framed by tinted black panels, creates a striking visual against the sunlight filtering through the glass skylight. The mandir, located to the northeast, offers a peaceful view of the front lawn. Mother-of-pearl engravings and Radha Krishna sculptures, along with bespoke artwork of Ganesha, bring a touch of elegance and spirituality to the space. The parents’ bedroom is designed with subtle tones and glass sliding doors that connect to the front lawn through a lush alley. This blend of nature and comfort offers expansive views of the green, adding to the tranquil environment. On the first floor, the family lobby is bathed in eastern sunlight, creating a luminous space that connects the master and children’s bedrooms, fostering a sense of togetherness. A bold artwork of leaves enhances the space’s eclectic character. The master bedroom, with its tones of ivory, beige, and darker shades, exudes privacy and luxury, complemented by custom furniture and fixtures. A handcrafted portrait of the couple adds a personal touch, while the window-side seating area offers a cozy retreat. The kids' room is designed in bluish-gray tones with their favorite superhero theme, fostering happiness and calm.
The home also includes a theater room that combines coziness with bold design, featuring a daring color palette and vintage wallpapers with soothing imagery.
